Samsung Galaxy S21 FE has been launched officially in India. The much-awaited phone from Samsung will has been launched in India with an Exynos 2100 processor. However, its global variant features a Snapdragon 888 SoC. Samsung has launched its latest phone close to heels with the launch of the OnePlus 9RT which will be unveiled on January 14.
That said, it actually tallies with the rest - the regular S21 had 4,000mAh capacity and lower uptime, while the S21+ had 4,800mAh and lasted longer than the S21 FE (these phones all share the same chipset here). Like the S20 FE, the S21 FE also offers 25W wired fast charging and 15W wireless fast charging with compatible charging pads.
As a comparison, the Galaxy S21 5G 256GB with a 6.2″ display is currently going for RM3,199 while the Galaxy S20 FE 5G 256GB is going for RM2,499. Pre-order for the Galaxy S21 FE will begin from 6th January 2022 and Samsung Malaysia is offering a RM350 discount plus free one-year Samsung Care+.
The Galaxy S21 FE with the Snapdragon 888 chip features 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. It has a 6.4-inch 120Hz Super AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution. It has a 32MP selfie camera, a 12MP primary rear camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and an 8MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. All the cameras can record 4K 60fps videos.
Samsung Galaxy S21 FE launch date could be either December or January, with the Galaxy S22 either joining it or coming a month later, according to the latest rumors.
