To the point I couldn't play long enough to leave said place to see if crashes were tied to this place. Tried running the game in fullscreen/borderless mode or switching to medium, didn't help. I didn't try to start a new save though.

It would have been cool to play, during the birth of the Roman Empire, as Aya instead of that short bit at the of Origins. If Origins had just ended with Bayek and Aya parting ways the set up would have been perfect.
